I have wanted one of the ghost chairs for so long and couldn't afford one. So I finally decided to buy a reproduction because according to the reviews they were nice.
I received my first order and was so angry about how scratched it was. Amazon sent me a second chair.
I received my second chair and it was very disappointing again. The chair was not protected enough, the arms rub against the side of the box and were scratched and dull again. There was sticker residue on some spot and another sticker placed right on the acrylic. And there were scratches on the chair in places where it had been wrapped in bubble wrap.
Whether or not it is Philippe Starck, you expect a brand new chair to come unscratched. When I took the chair out of the box, my husband asked me if I bought a used one? It didn't even look new.
My mother has the real version of the chair and it is definitely not as nice. THE CHAIR IS STILL WAY OVER PRICED.
Amazon's customer service has been great in helping me deal with this issue.

I just received my chair and it also has an imperfection or chip on the back of the seat. I'm trying to determine if I should roll the dice and return??

When I saw a picture of these chairs I knew without a doubt they were the chairs for my dining room. This seller had the most reasonable price. They were packaged with recycle in mind and arrived in excellent condition. I Am happy with the transaction and blissful to have the chairs.
