TL;DR - Great for the cost but be warned that the wood quality is not flawless as pictured (why 3 instead of 5 stars).
I ordered 4 of these chairs (2 sets of 2) in a rush to replace the ugly and too low folding chairs around my dining table the week before having my parents over for Thanksgiving dinner (which arrived with time to spare thanks to free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime).
For the price these chairs are pretty solid and they were easy enough to assemble. Assembly consisted of the back, the seat, the front legs and the cross beams held together by 10 bolts with tension rings and washers which connect the back/seat/legs and 6 wood screws in pre-drilled holes to secure the lower dowels between the legs. After the first one was done the rest took about 10-15 minutes each after spending a few minutes to pre-assemble the tension ring/washer/bolt sets. The included hex wrench features a rounded tip which still keeps a fair grip when tilted out 20-30 degrees to get at the bolts close to the chair bottom. However, the short end for the final tightening tended to twist out of the holes if I wasn't careful and stripped some of the bolts (but I often tighten to the edge of too tight so they were already tight enough by the time this happened). I'd say assembly was on par with similar chairs from Ikea that I've put together.
The reason I'm giving these 3 stars instead of 5 is the wood quality. Their standards with regard to what they'll make these out of are pretty low. Each chair had some defect, ranging from a streak of dark grey wood across 1/4 of the bottom of one chair to the edge of a knot in one of the back legs. Another reviewer mentioned a knot all the way through the back of one which caused it to fail when sat in which does not surprise me at all. Also, some of the dowels between the legs varied one to two shades darker than the rest of the chairs (not a big deal since they're mostly out of sight). As far as machining goes, there was only one out of the four that was less than perfectly aligned, but not to the point that I can tell which one it was without examining them closely.
Overall, I do not regret buying these. The lower quality wood actually adds a little character. However, it was by a roll of the dice that I did not get one with a structural integrity compromising knot in it.

The round 42" Windsome table we ordered from Amazon did not come with chairs. We purchased these separately from a market partner. They match beautifully and are very comfortable for dining or games. The quality of wood and workmanship is good. My husband and I worked together in assembling them, but I believe it could be done by one person if needed. They were shipped and arrived in a reasonable time frame. I would purchase from this partner or Winsome again without worry.
